Deck the Halls!

Deck the Halls!
Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here and I don't know about you, but I'm so excited to start documenting Christmas! The first collection I get to work with this season, is the Simple Vintage Dear Santa collection and it's stunning! I LOVE all of the Simple Vintage lines and this one does not disappoint. There are so many lovely vintage pieces in the collection, and I truly had so much fun making this page.

If you didn't know, I'm a huge fan of rub ons and the Transfer Sheets in this collection are gorgeous. There are two full image sheets, and you can choose to use the whole thing, or you can even break them up and use them on a few different things. I chose to use both sheets and transferred them onto a piece of Warm White Color Vibe cardstock. I originally was only going to use one, but the design in my head didn't look right when I put it on paper.  So, I went with both and I'm so glad that I did!  After they were both applied to the cardstock, I trimmed down the Special Delivery and Calm & Bright 12x12 patterned papers and adhered them to the top of the layout.  I also added some red twine and tied a bow towards the left side.

Here's another shot of one of the Transfer Sheets. I am in LOVE!

Next, I matted my photo using the Winter Color Vibe 6x8 Paper Pad. I matted it with Evergreen and then matted it one more time using Cranberry. I then layered a Chipboard Frame and a couple Chipboard Clusters under my photo for some layers and dimension. For my title, I used two of the Foam Stickers and adhered it right on top of my photo.

I then started to embellish using the Layered Bits, Bits & Pieces, Cardstock Stickers and the Sticker Book. I created a few clusters and tucked some ephemera here and there. I love the vintage Santas and the color palette in this collection. It's so classic!

For some finishing touches, I added in some Enamel Dots, Decorative Brads and tangled thread in coordinating colors.

Here's one final look at this festive page:

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way! Do you like to use Transfer Sheets? They're so fun to use and the full sheets can give you that same patterned paper look.  See you in my next post friends!
