Hello Simple Stories fans! Suzanna here today to share with you a LOVE-ly layout! I definitely have all the heart eyes for the colors in this collection! AND that it is not just for romantic love; this is a layout about my husband going to a basketball game with my daughter.
Here’s the layout;
Two diagonal strips and a border sticker form a cross diagonal from that in the top picture, in the chipboard frame, creating some fun movement in the layout. The frame originally was intended to be vertical and had a heart that extended from it. I used my scissors to cut the heart top and bottom off so that I could use it with the direction of my photo – these frames are cuttable!
The tickets were a perfect complement to my storytelling as paid entry to the game was required. A ticket for each of them.
Four of the Journaling Bits and Pieces serve not only as a place to journal but also as embellishment to the page. I love how the orange enamel dots “secure” the together sticker to the page and provide dimension.
