Hello, Simple Stories Friends! It's Jana Eubank. I love the magic of Halloween captured in the Simple Stories Boo Crew collection with its cute characters and just a touch of spookiness. I created three Halloween cards that I hope will bring a smile to the recipients' faces. (And yours, too!)
This first card features one of my favorite die-cuts from the pack of Bits & Pieces. That cute sleeping bat hanging on the branch with his pumpkin friend keeping watch stole my heart. I layered it with the spiderweb die-cut from the same Bits & Pieces pack then anchored everything on the circular journal block from the Journal Bits pack.
How cute is this spooky witch cooking up her next potion in the cauldron? (Poor little mouse. *giggle*) I fussy -cut her from the 4×6 Elements paper then paired her with the ‘Beware’ Foam Sticker title. A spooky moon sprinkled with bats from the 12×12 Cardstock Sticker Sheet adorns the corner. CUTE!
This last card features a happy ghost doing a happy dance over the candy he scored at his visit to the haunted house. Again, I used the Foam Stickers for the sentiment. The ghost and pumpkin come from the Chipboard Stickers, and the other pieces can be found in the Bits & Pieces and Journal Bits packs.
Don’t forget to add shiny dimension to your project with the adorable Decorative Brads! I love that they are self-adhesive stickers now … LOVE not having to deal with poking holes through my project and bending back prongs. These brad stickers are perfect for those of us who change our minds a lot during the design process! *wink!*
