Crafty Cards
Hey there friends! Thanks for stopping by the blog today! I am so excited to share with you my latest batch of handmade cards! This time around I was fortunate to work with the super cute “Crafty Things” collection! This collection is SOOO swoon-worthy!! From its soft and beautiful pastel pallet to all the trendy and colorful craft supplies – I was in love with this from the moment I laid eyes on it! Today I have 7 cards to share with you – so let’s jump right into it!
I was really inspired by this cute little “Get Crafty” banner, so I decided to create a banner to house it, along with a few other die cuts from the Bits and Pieces ephemera. I added the banner to a small wooden skewer that I cut down and then hot glued some light purple pom-poms from my stash to the ends! The top section is a decorated label from the Journal Bits with a few stickers from the Sticker Book and a pretty gold paper clip
Everybody loves their big mugs and this one is no exception! This cute mug is from the Big Bits and Pieces and takes center stage on this fun card. Fun pops of color on the black background paper make this card so eye-catching!
I love that all of the different types of crafts are represented within this collection. My inner artist was so happy to use this cute easel and paint Bits and Pieces. A bright gold foil rosette from my stash is a great compliment to all the lovely gold foil in this collection!
This card is one of my favorites! Maybe it’s the super sweet pink ruffle Chipboard Frame or the cute saying that is on this 3x4 Element card! It’s going to be my new mantra! Who needs housework – I’ve got crafting to do!
These adorable embroidery hoops from the Journal Bits and Pieces and the Sticker book are a great little group of embellishments! When layered together with some florals and beautiful pattern papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad- this card is a sweet little Hello card for a crafty friend.
One of my absolute favorite icons in this collection is these beautiful paintbrushes with lovely flowers on the bottom. I located this brush in the Big Bits and Pieces and layered some tickets and another gold foil rosette next to it! This 5x7 card is a lovely way to highlight this pretty piece!
And lastly, of course, I had to do a shaker card! This amazing frame is from the Chipboard Frames, and I adore anything with stripes, so it was for sure a card I was excited to make! This card houses a fun Chipboard camera from the Chipboard Stickers and then I trimmed the “take all the photos “phrase from the bottom of one of the 4x 6 Element cards and layered it on top of a Floral Bits and Pieces. Lots of fun colors on this card!
Creating these 7 cards using “Crafty Things” has been a delightful journey! Each card tells a unique story, showcasing the versatility and charm of this collection. I hope my designs have inspired you to explore your own artistic potential and create something truly special! Thank you for joining me today! We will see you all next time! Happy crafting friends!
