Crafty Babe card/gift card holders

Crafty Babe card/gift card holders

Hey there, crafty friends! Today, I am so excited to share a darling little project that’s as fun to make as it is to give! This is a fun fold card that also doubles as a gift card holder- perfect for surprising your favorite crafty babe with a little treat! I used the adorable Crafty Babe collection and let me tell you – this line is pure crafty joy! The colors are bold and bright, the icons are playful and nostalgic, and every single piece just screams “girl gang creativity! “

Let’s take a closer look at all the fun details:

So, each card features a mix of sweet sentiments from the 3x4 cards found on the two Elements papers. I also used the various pattern papers found in the collection. I added a few coordinating Color Vibe cardstocks. All cards were made with a black cardstock base. All the adorable crafty icons come from the Cardstock Sticker sheet, the two Bits and Pieces die cut packs, and the Foam Stickers. And of course, I couldn’t forget about the Decorative Brads and the beautiful Glitter Enamel Dots as well!

This card is giving major “Crafty Queen” energy! The bold black- and white stripes on the Crafty Times paper behind the silhouette of the crafty girl Foam Sticker give this one such a striking look. The phrase “I’m a crafty girl, in a crafty world” is the cherry on top – Barbie meets scrapbooker in the best way!

“Crafty and Happy” – yes, please! This one features a cute pink hanger, Foam Sticker, and a cute, scalloped sentiment 3x4 card on the front. The background is layered with the pretty floral side of the Elements 1 paper. Notice my fun paper clip charms? They are layered up with one of the cute Decorative Brads and some yummy black and white baker's twine. This cheerful card is bursting with positive vibes!

Any late-night scrappers out there? This one’s for you! The cute pink mug, roller skate, and stamp icons are so fun and cheeky! And that sentiment? “Gonna crop all night!” Yes, girl, same!!!

This one is a scrapbooker’s dream in card form! A rainbow of happy colors found on the Making Memories paper forms the perfect background for the Foam Sticker list of crafty essentials: paper, stickers, washi, chipboard… all our faves.  I love the smattering of Foam Sticker hearts along the right edge of the sentiment!

Time for the big reveal! When you open up the fun fold card, there is a perfectly sized pocket to tuck in a gift card (hello, Hobby Lobby run!), plus one more spot on the far right to write a sweet note. I added some floral accents and scissors to keep up the crafty theme. And how cute is that “Live, Love, Scrap” sentiment sticker on the top? Such a perfect finishing touch.

I just love how this project turned out! The Crafty Babe collection was the perfect pick for making a handmade gift card holder that’s just as fun and fabulous as the person receiving it. Whether you are crafting for a birthday, a crop night, or just because, this little card is sure to bring a big smile.

Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today! I hope I have inspired you to try out a fun fold card or two – and maybe even gift one to your own crafty BFF. Go grab the Crafty Babe collection and get your scrap on!

Happy Crafting!
