Hi, Friends! Andrea here sharing one of my favorite projects ever. I used a limited edition 6x8 Lilac Sn@p! Binder and the brand new and fabulous Crafty Things collection to record some new steps I’ve made in my crafty journey this year. The Crafty things collection is a dream. The colors are perfect, and every single icon and pattern are gorgeous. Oh! And what can I say about the new gold foil details they’ve added to some of the products??? This collection has it all and it is perfect to document our crafty journeys and experiences.
If you have been following me for a while, you know I love creating dimensional covers and this album was no exception. I used a piece of color vibe cardstock that matched the color of the spine to cover the craft surface of the album, and then I used three different colors of yarn to add color and personality to an embroidery hoop. Inside the embroidery hoop you can find a cute paint brush with some extra flowers on the end (the gold foil details are incredible) and I added the ‘Crafty’ chipboard piece as my title. I am in love with this cover.
The inside of the album is full of dimension and color. I decided to record the story of a new crafty adventure I am sharing with a couple of friends. I want to make sure all the details are recorded for me to remember how it all started. Now, going back to the collection, my favorite elements this time around are the paint brushes you can find in different formats, the floral icons, the rub-ons and the foam stickers. I love the bold titles with the gold foiled borders. Perfection!!
I mixed patterns throughout the album and had the best time creating extra pockets and finding creative ways to incorporate my favorite elements from the collection to tell the story. This album still has some room to grow, so I am hoping to keep adding a few more photos and stories. I am not sure about you, but I already placed an extra order of the Crafty Things collection to be able to create a few 12x12 pages with it as well.
