Hello Simple Storie Friends. Karlla here, and I'm so happy to share a new project with you.
I was so excited to use the new holiday collections that I LOVE!!! And starting autumn with "Pumpkins & Plaid" is wonderful.
I love taking my little boy to the pumpkin patch near my house. It’s always fun and a great chance to take beautiful photos.
For this layout, I created a base by layering the "Flannel Nights," "Blanket Weather," and "Hey Pumpkin" papers, mounting the first two layers onto the bottom one using foam tape.
Using the "Cozy Things" paper, cut a 10x10" square. Using a scoring board, score the paper at half-inch intervals. Then, fold along each score line to create an accordion fold.
Glue the accordion-fold piece onto the top of the base created earlier.
Now, I attached all the elements added over the accordion fold using foam tape, placing them exactly where the mountain fold lies. First, the photos, layered to create dimension.
At the top of the photos, I created a mix of embellishments using Cardstock Stickers Basics, Chipboard Pieces, Bits & Pieces, Floral Bits & Pieces, and Foam Stickers, always creating dimension beneath the photos.
At the base of the accordion fold, position the flower arrangements from "Floral Bits & Pieces," the pumpkin, and the ticket from "Cardstock Stickers Basics and Journal Bits & Pieces."
Below, I created a layered arrangement featuring the "Fall Details" title from the Page Pieces collection. To build this decorative cluster, I added the large pumpkin, also from Page Pieces,
along with the title, a cute "Foam Stickers" subtitle, a mini heart sticker placed over the title, and a lovely chipboard button.
I finished the layout with a favorite from every collection: "Decorative Brads." I simply love them—they’re always so cute for adding that special touch.
