Color Me Happy!

Color Me Happy

Hi friends! It’s Ali, @funadventureswithali, sharing a hand-stitched layout I created using the gorgeous Color Me Happy collection! This cheerful collection was perfect for documenting my fun photos from our visit to the Color Factory in Chicago. I just love all the colors and happy vibes!

The Color Me Happy – All About It paper immediately felt like it was meant to be hand stitched. Those beautiful multicolored circles were just calling my name! I decided to stitch about one-third of the circles, coordinating DMC thread to match each section of color. I absolutely love the texture and dimensions the stitching adds to the page.

After finishing the stitching, I printed six photos in 2x2 squares and double-matted them onto two strips. I then embellished the top of my photo strip with stickers, journaling stickers, and a brad for my phone dial detail.

To add even more texture and interest, I placed three large enamel brads in the center of three circles. I also used the adorable typewriter and cherry cardstock stickers to decorate the left side of my photo strips.

I am completely in love with the title, Color Me Happy. The foam stickers are one of my favorite products to use, and this title was perfect for my colorful photos from the Color Factory.  I added foam tape behind to make the title pop off that colorful paper.

I always say life is short, and you should live in color!

Cheers,

Ali
