Hi crafty friends! It’s Cheryl on the blog today showing you this cute project using Say Cheese Classic Mouse!
First of all isn’t this such a cute collection?! There’s something special about crafting your own personalized cards, they always bring a unique touch. I wanted combine creativity and functionality when I decided to create a set of mini note cards with a matching box using the Say Cheese Classic Mouse collection.
I started with the mini note cards and used plain white card, because I wanted to show off the beautiful rub-ons from this collection! They are so fun to use and look incredible. I also used stickers but opted for no dimensions on the card itself. I created matching envelopes out of white card and layered patterned paper from the collection. I have also added machine stitching to these layering pieces for extra texture and for extra dimension, I used foam adhesive squares behind some elements to make them pop off the card. The envelopes measure approx. 3 x 4.75 Inches.
Next, I needed a cute, functional box to hold the cards. I wanted something that matched the theme and size of my cards perfectly, so I created my own simple box. I used Grey Color Vibe card for the base of the box and layered stitched patterned papers on top. It adds a touch of colour and also makes the box sturdy.
Once the box was constructed, I embellished it to match the note cards. The mini note cards fit perfectly inside the box, and the theme carried through from the cards to the box, creating a beautiful, cohesive set. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just getting started, you can make something special with the Say Cheese Classic Mouse collection!
