Hey everyone, it's Dorymar here, and today I'm excited to share a magical project featuring the new and stunning Say Cheese Classic Mouse collection. This collection really resonates with my teenage years. I was a huge fan of all things Mickey Mouse, so when I saw this collection, I instantly fell in love with it!
This collection is complete with patterns, colors, and majestic elements. I wanted to use it all because every piece is fantastic. I created a beautiful shaker on the cover using one of the frames from the collection. On top of it, I decorated with an attractive banner that says "fun." I also added other die cuts and finished it off with some adhesive brads.
I made pockets on the inside of the cover to hold the journal, photos, tickets, and bracelets from the trip. This project is completely detailed. On each page, you will find lots of fun, and most importantly, many layers of paper.
I love the Mickey figures; they're so adorable!
On the first page, I created a top flap. At the top, I decorated it so there is space for a 3.5" x 4.5" photo. Around it, you can see the beautiful clusters I created by combining stickers, die cuts, foam stickers, and brads. All the elements are attached with foam tape to create dimension.
You'll find a large pocket with an oversized insert on the back. Above the pocket, there's a photo frame and a cluster of beautiful pieces from the collection. On the following page, you'll see how lovely the journaling cards and tags from the collection are.
As previously mentioned, each page in this album is filled with layers of paper to create stunning backgrounds, making my photos look even more striking when displayed. On the left page, I added a flip-out flap using one of the 4x6 cards included in the collection. Around it, I incorporated washi tape, stickers from the Sticker Book, die cuts, and brads into my background. I was really happy with the result.
This album is filled with beautiful pages and plenty of space for photos and journaling!
I always make sure to include a double pocket page in my projects. To make the pockets, I used my favorite patterns from the 6x8 notebook. I decorated the bottom pocket with a lovely cluster using journaling cards, stickers, and brads. For the top pocket, I added a strip of paper and another set with die cuts and stickers. Then, I had fun adding extra pieces to make the pockets really stand out.
I wanted to create a page incorporating several photos, while also experimenting with the beautiful round embellishments from the collection. The result exceeded my expectations, and I am absolutely delighted with it.
