Hi there friends, its Tya (@tyasmith3)! I am so thrilled to be here today to share with you my latest batch of handmade cards! I was soooo excited to get to work with the new “Cider and Donuts” collection! I can just smell the cider and hear the leaves crunch beneath my feet – I am looking forward to fall so much after this hot, hot summer we have had here at home, and these cards are making me even more excited!
I did a fun compilation here of 5 cards and 4 tags – all with a fall feel! I adored the warm and homey hues of this collection, and the icons are some of my very favorites to date that Simple Stories has come out with!

I am so enamored with the Sentiment Bits and Pieces that have been added to the collections. They make card-making so much easier. Here on this card, I used the heartfelt and hello die cuts to make a fun and cheerful card perfect for a friend.
I just love making tags! This one has a tag – on a tag!! And how beautiful are those florals?
I love adding doilies and the rich brown of this doily perfectly complements this card that features a 4x4 Element cut apart card for its sentiment.
Any Friends fans out there? The sweater vest on this tag would make Chandler Bing very proud I think! Such a fun tag!
Square-shaped cards are quickly becoming a favorite of mine, and this one is layered up with lots of pretty pumpkin ephemera from the collection.
I was so happy to see the cute squirrels added to the collection. Mr. Squirrel looks too cute holding his pumpkin on this adorable tag!
I had to include one of these cute cider carts on one of my cards- it is the namesake of the collection after all! Festive apples abound on this fun card – it makes me want cider and a donut so badly right now –how about you?
A stack of books and a warm cup of something yummy made this tag so festive and fun! Notice how I added a little bit of burlap ribbon on the tag for some added texture.
One last card, this one uses one of the 3x4 Element cards and one of the 2x2 Element cards to decorate it up! How sweet are the sweaters, gloves, and hat on this card? So cozy indeed!
As you can see, I had the best time making this batch of cards! I hope I have inspired you to grab a warm cup of cider, and some donuts or two and snuggle in for the night and make a bunch of cards using this wonderful collection.
