Hello Simple Stories friends!
It's Nathalie with you today, just in time to share a bit of inspiration featuring the fun and beautiful SIMPLE VINTAGE HOLLY JOLLY collection. I am in love with the vintage but fun and classic look of the collection. It is perfect to document all your holiday memories. Let me show you what I have created with it!
I wanted to mix patterns, textures, and layers for my layout. So, playing with paper was the best way to get this page started.
I trimmed the border with the layered cluster of the For Goodness Sake! paper, I made sure that the strip contained the large cluster and also a piece of the teal paper. Next, I pieced my background using strips from Santa Gram, and Icicle papers. I glued the layered strip so that the cluster sits at the center of the page, then trimmed the excess and adhered it back to the left of the strip to make up the width of the page.
I always look at the Chipboard Frames for inspiration! I decided to frame one of the pictures, and then layer it atop another picture. Then it was all about layering embellishments and papers behind them before gluing them to the base
Repeating elements in each of the clusters is an easy way to make your page cohesive. I made sure to repeat colors, shapes, and icons at each corner of the photos and title. There are so many icons to choose from that made this so easy to put together.
The Foam Adhesives are always my go-to for project titles. This time,I mixed a few pieces and placed them at the bottom of the photos. I added a few extra embellishments and enamel dots to complete my page
I love how this turned out, and I hope it inspires you to take a closer look at the beautiful SIMPLE VINTAGE HOLLY JOLLY collection!
Have a Merry Christmas. and may 2025 be filled with love, peace, and hope!
XO
