Hello friends, It’s Dorymar today! Christmas is approaching, and we must be prepared for the season. We have a lot of activities and family time on our schedule. It's essential to document every minute during this time; the best form to do it is a fun, crafty and beautiful album. Today, I’m sharing inspiration for the season with the stunning Simple Vintage Yuletide collection. Let’s take a look!
As you can see, I inked the edges of my album to give it a vintage feel and keep it more in keeping with the collection. I used various chipboard elements on the cover to add layers and texture. Using the frames included in the collection, I created two beautiful shakers and added flowers and elements that you can find in the die-cut packs. I’m in love with the result.

On the first page, I created a beautiful flap, decorating it with stickers, die-cuts, cards, twine and adhesive brads to add lots of detail to my album and use all the beautiful elements in the collection.
Inside, you can find space for three photos.
I love incorporating pockets; in this case, I used one of the 4x6 cards to create it. Inside, I placed cards and tags that you can find in the collection papers. As a title, I used the word "Christmas" from the Page Pieces package and adhered it to foam tape for dimension.
Decorating pocket pages is one of my favorite parts of creating; I love looking through the wide variety that Simple Stories offers. They are fantastic!
I love adding my personal touch to the "Designer Pages" included in the 6x8 paper pads. It's a way to make the beautiful designs stand out even more. In this case, I created two clusters, one small at the top with adhesive brads and twine. At the bottom, I made another one, adding the title "Dear Santa" using die cuts from the new sentiment packs that Simple Stories includes in their collections. I loved the result.
The best way to incorporate quite big pieces is to add significant clusters around your photos to embellish your page. The final product is always great.
