Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here today sharing a layout with the fabulous Wildflower collection. I am in love with this collection and had so much fun creating with it. Make sure to check out my process video at the end of this post! Here's my page:
There are a lot of beautiful patterns in this collection, and I wanted to highlight a lot of the 12x12 papers. I thought it would be fun to trim several of them into strips and then adhere them to a piece of the Simple Stories Mint textured cardstock. I could have used white or cream but thought the extra little pop of mint would be a nice touch. After I trimmed them into strips, I distressed the edges quite a bit. In doing this, it exposed that mint cardstock a bit more. I then ran each strip through my sewing machine for some extra interest and texture.
I love the messy look of all of the strips and these patterns just look so nice together! I did add some white paint to all of the strips to distress them a bit more. I love the subtle look of the white paint and even added some additional paint splatters when the layout was complete.
For my title, I used a combination of the Foam Stickers and added one of them directly on my photo and adhered the remaining portion right under it.
I matted my photo using a few papers from the 6x8 paper pad and also layered a couple of chipboard frames underneath it. I love to layer with these frames! They create the perfect places to tuck in ephemera and stickers.
Here's an embellishment cluster that I created with half of one of the chipboard frames, bits + pieces and some decorative brads.
Do you like to layer your embellishments? It's one of my favorite things to do. I love all of the layers and dimension when it's all said and done!
Here's one last look at this fun layout with ALLLL of the pretty patterns!
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way! See you in my next post friends!
