Hey friends! Brianna Estrella here today and I couldn't be more thrilled to be able to share my layout using the new Lavender Fields collection. This collection is absolutely amazing and has everything that I LOVE! The purple, the lavender, the bees and hexagons, the florals and of course the overall softness to this collection. My son and his girlfriend ended up getting their photos done for their dating anniversary (adorable..) and once they sent them to me, I knew right away that I'd document their session using this collection. Here's my page:
To start, I made sure to use the Warm White Color Vibe cardstock as my base since I didn't want too much pattern to compete with the photo. Then I matted the cardstock using the gorgeous Almond paper from the Basics paper kit. Using those two papers together already looked amazing btw. The patterned papers in this collection are just stunning, so while I didn't want to use one as my base, I did want to include a few layers on my layout. I ended up choosing the Sunshine & Honey, Beautiful Moments and the Buzz & Bloom papers. I cut them down and layered them on the left side of my page. Aren't they stunning?
Next, I matted my photo using a couple of papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad and ended up layering a few of the library card die cuts from the Journal Bits pack. I love the vintage feel of this whole paper line!! I then went through the Chipboard Pieces pack and selected a few pieces to go around my photo. The bouquet of lavender piece was a great size and fit perfectly right next to my photo.
For my title, I chose "Buzzing with Happiness" from the Foam Sticker sheet and adhered it right underneath my photo. I also layered the two tickets underneath the title to give it something to be grounded to. The 'happiness' piece really pops and it couldn't have been more perfect for this photo. Those two are so cute together and we love them very much!
I decided that the bottom left corner needed a little embellishment cluster, so I built one using a few of the Bits & Pieces and then included a few Chipboard pieces as well. It's such a cute little corner!
This page came together so quickly and I was excited to start bringing in some of the smaller elements. I pulled in some Decorative Brads, the cute Chipboard hearts and last but not least, the Glitter Enamel Dots. I made sure to sprinkle all of them around the whole page.
