Book Vibes
It’s Ali here (@funadventureswithali), and today I’m sharing one of my happiest spots in my home—my very own library! 📚 And I’m documenting it using the bright and cheerful Book Fair collection.
Yes, it’s official—I now have a library! With over 1,000 books (including many signed by New York Times bestselling authors!), my bookshelf was bursting at the seams. I’d been on the hunt for two more shelving units, and I’m thrilled to say I finally found them. My collection is now beautifully displayed, and best of all—no more books stacked on the floor!
This colorful collection perfectly matches the joyful energy of my home library. For my layout, I started with a base of Color Vibe white cardstock, then layered a square of bright yellow paper on top. I used the " Book Fair Way To Go" patterned paper and cut the strips to create fun, banner-style embellishments. To add texture and detail, I hand-stitched a few of the banners—such a simple touch that brings dimension and charm to the page.
One of my favorite elements? The adorable little owl wearing glasses and reading a book—so me! For the title, I mixed a foam sticker word with a chipboard sticker to create a playful “Book Vibes” title. Layering different textures here really made it pop. And that little ruler I used to ground the title? Absolute perfection!
The collection’s book stack stickers and ephemera also made the perfect accents—especially since they reminded me of all the stacks I had on the floor before I got my new shelves!
To finish it all off, I sprinkled in some brads and enamel dots for a little extra fun.
