Hello Simple Stories friends, it's Becki Adams here, to share a flipbook that I created using the Boho Sunshine collection. This album is unique for a couple of reasons. The first one is that I only used five products and some white cardstock scraps to create this album, more on that in just a minute. The other thing that makes this project unique is that I cut down the 4x6 flipbook to create a unique size. I trimmed the cover of the album down to 4 ¾”. The height of the album is still the standard size of just over 4 ½”
After trimming the cover of the flipbook down a little bit, I took out all of the page protectors. This album doesn’t have any page protectors. I’m saving those for another project! As I mentioned earlier, I only used five products in this album. The main product that I used is the Boho Sunshine card kit. I don’t make very many cards so I love to use the elements in these kits for mini albums or layouts.
I challenged myself to only use the Boho Sunshine card kit, the enamel dots, the sticker book, and one sheet of mint color vibe cardstock. It only took me a few minutes to realize that this wasn’t much of a challenge at all. There are so many embellishments in the card making kit!! Did you know there is a sheet of chipboard in the card kits? I simply filled in a few gaps with the sticker book. I wanted the enamel dots to add a bit of dimension here and there.
The base pages in the album are all white cardstock. I had enough scraps in my scrap bin to create all of the pages. Each page measures: 4 ½” wide x 4 ¼” tall. This size of page left me just enough room for a few photos and a bit of typed journaling. There are also a few interactive elements in this collection. This is such a fun, easy project. It would be perfect for a crop. You wouldn’t have to pack very many supplies! I am over the moon happy with how this project came together. My sweet little niece LOVES to read a book that is just about her!
The Boho Sunshine was so much fun to work with. I cannot wait to jump in and create a few layouts with it as well! I am also anxious to see what you’re creating with the Boho collection too!
