Blue Skies Ahead! by Emelie Chamel

Blue Skies Ahead! by Emelie Chamel
Hi everybody!
Emilie (https://www.instagram.com/emiliechamel/) here to share with you a new project featuring the very joyful collection SUNKISSED. The days are getting warmer and a recent spell of sunshine here in the UK allowed me to take some sunny photographs of Sophia, perfect to use with this collection.

This collection is full of bright and happy papers! I fell in love with the Suuny Days sheet and knew I wanted to feature it on this layout so I tore it twice and used both strips on the left side of my layout. Curling up the edge around a paint brush helped giving my layout texture and volume. Those were then mounted on the left hand side of the B side of the 3x4 elements sheet.

I then decided to continue on the summer theme by creating pinwheels. I used the Shine Bright, Play all day and Chill out papers for that as it was a great way to feature simultaneously the patterns on both side. I finished the pinwheels off with the gorgeous decorative brads.

I mounted my photo on the B side of the 2x2/4x4 elements sheet as I do like the framed look at the moment. The Tags sheet offers plenty of cut-out options so I decided to use some of those tags behind my photograph.

All my layout needed after that was a few sticker flowers from the Cardstock sticker sheet, some wordings from the Journal bits pack and a few more small decorative brads. The final touch was the addition of my title made super easy thanks to the Foam Stickers. These have become some of my must haves!

I had so much fun creating this layout! I hope you check the new SUNKISSED collection from Simple Stories at your local scrapbook supplies store. It will get you all ready for summer!
