Hey, Simple Stories friends! Marsha here, and I'm excited to share an album I created with the Full Bloom collection. I love the colors, patterns, and icons in this collection. It is perfect for documenting your springtime memories!
I chose the Blush 6x8 SN@P! binder for my project today. I began by selecting a patterned paper from the collection kit to cover the front of the album, trimmed off the floral border portion, and used only the notebook pattern as the background. This gave me a neutral base to begin decorating the cover. Next, I created the title with foam stickers and an ampersand from the Summer Color Vibe Alpha Sticker Book. The die cuts in the Simple Pages Page Pieces are always a personal favorite, and I chose a fun rainbow and sun die cut to decorate above the title. I completed the cover with a floral piece and cardstock and foam stickers.
For the opening page of the album, I used a dot patterned paper that was included with the binder. I machine stitched around three edges of a paper from the 6x8 paper pad to create a pocket- the perfect spot for a large tag made with trimmed patterned paper from the collection. I embellished the tag simply with a few cardstock stickers.
I added another paper from the 6x8 paper pad and had fun embellishing it with stickers from the puffy sticker sheet. The icons in this set are so cute!
The next layout uses a divided pocket page. I created my own journal cards with patterned paper, cardstock, and stickers from the collection. I also made a pocket to include a tag from the Tags patterned paper.
The following layout includes more tags from the Tags patterned paper. It also features a flip created with a cut apart journal card. I used some of the gorgeous washi tape to create the flip and embellish the journal card.
I made a large tag for the next page with trimmed patterned paper and a cut apart journal card. I loved the sentiment on the card and just had to include it in the album! This page also includes a pull-out tag for an additional photo or journaling.
The other side of the tag includes layered embellishments, along with a fun foam sticker rainbow.
The final layout I'm sharing incorporates another pocket page. I used trimmed patterned paper and cut apart journal cards to fill the pockets. I added a bold title with foam stickers and embellished the page with floral bits and pieces and some of the cute bees from the collection.
