Are you doing a quarantine journal? I am. I started mine in March, when Bolivia closed its borders and a lockdown was decreed.
I made a notebook for each lockdown month, but in October when the Quarantined collection came out I had no doubts, I would use the collection to create a new journal, and now it will be on my 6x8 Flipbook Robin’s Egg.
For the cover I used the papers from the color vibe collection in colors that match with the quarantined collection. I fussy cut the sofa from one of the cards, which you will find on the Social Distancing paper and I used the numbers from the color vibe foam alphas collection to embellish my cover.
I love to make interactive pages. So, to allow the pocket page to interact with the paper page I made the back with, I removed two pockets from the first page.
I decided to gather some of the photos that I took from March until October in my flipbook and I made inserts, one for each month of lockdown.
With Sn@p! wood basic paper 12x12 Aspen|white notebook I created a page to write a list: “To do for the soul” . Here I will write things to do every day that are good for the body, mind and soul. The idea is to remember to do things that make me happy so that I am connected with what really matters.
The cards in the collection are wonderful! We have cards to list the books we've read, news, movies we've watched. The fun about this collection is that even after the vaccine comes out and we don't have to remain quarantined, we can use the collection to register our daily lives in a fun and cheerful way.
I hope you’ve got some inspiration from this idea and enjoyed it!
