Hello cardmaking frinds! Anya's here today and I am so happy to share with you a set of cards I created with the Winter Wonder collection. While it's still cold and wintery outside I like to use this time to make some cards for next year and to create a few cards that can be used for winter birthdays.
When I am making cards, I start by creating some layers for my foundation first. You can create a layered look by using a combination of different patterned papers for your background or by creating clusters with journaling bits, 3x4 elements, tags, frames and more.
Another way to add more layers is to add some elements to your card with pop dots and overlapping stickers and ephemera. These tips will always add more details to your cards and make them more fun!
Speaking of layers, don't forget to add a layer of patterned paper to the back side of your card. It will give your card a finished look and make it more stable to balance all the layers on the front.
Hope you were inspired by my cards and will apply some of the tips shared today in your next cardmaking adventure. Happy crafting!
