Beautiful Memories with Simple Vintage Timeless

Hello Simple Stories friends! Gloria Parra here today sharing a soft, elegant, and heartfelt layout created with the gorgeous Simple Vintage Timeless collection. The vintage florals, delicate patterns, and beautiful embellishments made this collection absolutely perfect for documenting these special wedding memories.
I started this layout with one of the beautiful floral-patterned papers as my base. To add depth and help frame the design, I layered two more papers on top. First, I trimmed the black paper to 11¼” x 11¼”, then cut the green paper to 10¾” x 10¾” and adhered them centered on the page.
Next, I created the large heart that serves as the centerpiece of the layout. Using the beige patterned paper with the subtle vintage-inspired white design, I folded the paper in half and lightly sketched half a heart shape with a pencil. After cutting it out with scissors, I opened it up to reveal a symmetrical heart measuring approximately 10 inches wide. I adhered the heart to the center of the page and immediately loved the soft contrast it created against the green background.
To help my photos stand out, I matted two 3” x 4” photos using one of the black-and-white striped papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad. I then layered the photos slightly overlapping in the center of the heart, creating a balanced focal point while leaving plenty of room for embellishments around them.
Using pieces from the Floral Bits & Pieces, I built two large clusters on opposite sides of the heart. I tucked flowers, leaves, and smaller accents behind the photos, allowing the clusters to extend beyond the edges of the heart for a fuller, more organic look. These large floral groupings help frame the photos beautifully while adding softness and movement to the page.
Once the floral clusters were complete, I began adding dimensional embellishments. I incorporated several pieces from the Foam Stickers, including the vintage car and the gorgeous “Beautiful Memories” title, which became the main title for the layout. I also tucked in smaller embellishments such as butterflies, labels, and decorative accents to add layers and visual interest throughout the design.
To balance the heavier embellishment clusters, I created a smaller cluster in the upper right portion of the heart. This area serves as a perfect spot for journaling while still blending seamlessly with the rest of the design.
To finish the layout, I scattered a few Decorative Brads, Enamel Dots, and tiny foam hearts around the page. These little details add just the right amount of texture and sparkle without overwhelming the soft, elegant design.
