Hello Simple Stories Friends, Karlla here and I'm so glad to share a new layout with you.
For this project, I used the Boo-tiful "Frightful Fun Collection" along with my all-time favorite "Simple Pages Circle Template." One of the main techniques I used was layering. I combined patterned papers, die cuts, stickers, circles, and fussy-cut elements to create different levels throughout the page. This helped add depth while keeping the layout visually interesting.
I also used circular photos and embellishments to break up the straight lines of the background and create movement across the page. The different sizes of the circles help guide the eye from one cluster to another.

For the base, I used the "Spooky Season" paper. For the layer, I cut a 10x12" strip from the "Something Wicked" paper. I adhered it to the base, centering the top and bottom edges.
Just above that, I cut another strip of the 9x12" "Elements 1" paper. Using an edge punch, I finished the ends.

For the layered circles, I used the Simple Stories circle template as a guide. I selected some papers and cut them using all the sizes from the template set,
reserving the smallest 2-inch circle for the photos.

I used images from the "Elements 1" and "Elements 2" papers and cut the ghost and pumpkin tags into circles as well; I loved the effect. Using foam tape, I layered all the circles to create depth.

Between the circle layers, I added some decorative elements found in "Bits & Pieces" and "Cardstock Stickers Icons."
I used the word "Bolo" from "Bits & Pieces" for the title and finished it off with the lovely "Decorative Brads."

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope this layout inspired you to get creative, try new techniques, and have a little fun with your next project.
Happy creating, Karlla.
