Autumn Leaves & Pumpkins Please! by Marsha Farris

Autumn Leaves & Pumpkins Please! by Marsha Farris
Hey, Simple Stories friends! Marsha here, and I'm happy to share an album featuring the new Simple Vintage Country Harvest collection. Fall is my favorite season, so I was excited to use this gorgeous collection to document some of my autumn memories!

I chose to use a Green SN@P 6x8 Binder because it coordinated beautifully with the colors and patterns in this collection. To decorate the cover, I trimmed a few patterned papers from the collection kit and used them to cover the chipboard. I added foam stickers to create the title and layered a few banner die cuts below the title. Next, I embellished the cover using a foam leaf sticker, chipboard heart, enamel dots, and decorative brads. I also created a tag and banner cluster at the top. I love the added texture and interest this provides to the design.

For the inside cover, I trimmed a cut apart element from the collection kit and used it to create a pocket to hold a larger tag and banner cluster. I then decorated the pocket with a foam sticker, a layered butterfly, and an element from the chipboard clusters.

For the album pages, I used the chipboard dividers and papers included with the album to create the pages. I also added in a divided page protector. I like the mix of chipboard dividers, patterned paper pages, and pocket pages.

I created the next page directly on the chipboard divider. The chipboard worked perfectly with the colors in this collection. I layered a few tags on the page and embellished mainly with stickers and enamel dots. I also added a bit of orange bakers twine to one of the tags.

The banner cardstock stickers are always a favorite embellishment, so I used a smaller one on the next layout. I love all of the details on these stickers and that they include a spot for a photo or other embellishment!

I couldn't resist using several foam sticker pumpkins on the following layout documenting a day at the pumpkin patch. I also used a variety of stickers from the sticker book, a cut apart element, and several enamel dots.

I like using pocket pages because they are a great way to include some of the cut apart elements from the 12x12 collection kit. I added foam and chipboard stickers and phrase stickers from the sticker book for some simple embellishing.

The next pocket page included more of the cut apart elements, along with phrase stickers and layered ephemera tickets from the collection bits and pieces.

I created a vellum pocket on another one of the chipboard dividers and used a green dot patterned paper included with the SN@P binder as the base for the pocket. I tucked a few of the cut apart elements into the pocket, including my journaling on one of the cards. The pocket was the perfect spot to hold a few additional photos and ephemera pieces.
This is such a fun fall album created using the beautiful Simple Vintage Country Harvest collection! Thanks so much for stopping by today! I will see you again soon with more Simple Stories inspiration!
