Anything is Possible Layout by Andrea Lake
Hi, friends! Andrea here, and for today’s project I’m sharing a soft, dreamy 12x12 layout created with the Simple Vintage Lavender Fields collection by Simple Stories in collaboration with Spellbinders. I wanted this page to feel calm and airy—like a quiet moment you can step into—so I used a large selfie as the focal point and built a gentle, lavender-inspired foundation to support it.
To create the background, I reached for the Simple Vintage Lavender Fields Hexagons Dies from Spellbinders. I die cut a full panel of hexagons using two sheets of the collection’s Basic papers and layered them tone-on-tone to form a textured, subtle “tile” effect. The stitched detail from the dies adds just enough definition to each hexagon without overpowering the page. I love how it creates movement while still keeping the design clean and soft. It’s one of those techniques that looks intricate but comes together quickly and instantly adds dimension to your layout.
From there, I framed my photo using the beautiful window paper from the 6x8 paper pad and layered ephemera to add warmth and contrast. I anchored everything with a cluster of lavender stems and vintage-inspired pieces—tags, tickets, and delicate paper accents—to keep the composition feeling collected and story-rich. Finishing touches like enamel dots, rub-ons, and tiny layers tucked behind the photo helped the page feel balanced and complete without losing that light and subtle vibe.
For the title, I used the phrase “anything is possible” from the Bits & Pieces pack and added a small banner that reads “DREAMER” at the top of the photo to reinforce the mood of the page. The honey jars and little accents at the bottom bring in that cozy, nostalgic feel that makes this collection so special—soft purples, warm neutrals, and just the right amount of whimsy.
