Hello Simple stories Crafty friends! Samee here today to share my latest mini album created using Life Captured collection :)
I created this mini album by trimming out 5 different shaped butterflies from pattern papers, each page is a little smaller to the previous one. I also added a shaker page on the center.
Then I attached all the butterflies together by sewing the center spine. It was so fun to incorporate every page with elements. This collection has cute school elements, which I really liked a lot.
After combining all the pages, I started to embellish the sides using the chipboard stickers and ephemeras. I added more paper clips and the sticker book from this collection has a pretty good title.
I love adding clusters of stickers and layering. So, I dressed most of the pages with a cluster of embellishment with stickers.
After completing the pages, I covered the sides of two chipboard of size 3.25x5.5 inch with a pattern paper from the 6x8 paper pad
I needed the spine to be little flexible, so to combine the two chipboards and to make the spine, I used a piece of acetate sheet.
Attached the Butterflies on to spine and covered the outer acetate part which shows the inside adhesive tapes with a pattern paper.
Dressed up the front side with some layering of journal cards from the 12-inch pattern papers and added the title using Chipboard sticker. My projects are incomplete without Enamel dots, so added some bling to my project with enamel dots.
Hope this project inspired you to make something new! Mini albums are my forever go to project. Thanks for stopping by!
Love, Samee
