Hi, Friends! Andrea here sharing a fun Holiday home decor project using the beautiful Santa’s Village collection by Simple Stories to decorate three Doodlebug snow globes that I am planning to gift to friends. This is my favorite collection of the Holiday release, and I wanted to make something that would help me share holiday cheer around me.
I used three different patterned papers to create the backgrounds of my little scenes. To create the first one, I fussy cut one of the 4x4 cards from a patterned paper. I loved the ‘All is Bright’ sentiment with the Christmas wreath around it. A pretty simple but special globe.
There is no Christmas without gifts, and this is what this second scene is all about. Well, gifts and dimension :) I algo got to play with the rub-ons around the edge of the background. I created a fun cluster of images combining cardstock stickers, ephemera North Pole bits, bits & pieces and sentiment bits. I also love the crystal beads to create the snow effect.
The third snow globe is my favorite! I created another very dimensional cluster of Christmas trees and postcards. It is definitely all about the magic of Christmas. Of course, with the added touch of the snow.
I hope you enjoy this project and feel inspired to create some holiday home decor projects for you and your loved ones.
Love,
Andrea.
