Exploring new stories through paper is always such a joy and the Open Road collection by Simple Stories is an irresistible invitation to do just that! With a cheerful color palette, elements inspired by the road, adventure, and nature, it brings that wonderful feeling of freedom and discovery along the way.
For this project, I created a set of four cards designed for different occasions: from encouraging someone special (“go and explore!”) to sending a little love in paper form. Cards are such a simple yet meaningful way to connect or simply make someone smile.
In the process, I leaned into layering techniques, building dimension with papers from the 6x8 paper pad and combining them with Bits & Pieces and Floral Bits. The brads add that perfect finishing touch, bringing extra texture and charm to each design. The result is a set of cards full of color, movement, and storytelling.
