Hello cardmaking friends! Anya's here today and I am really excited to share a set of cards I recently created with the True Colors collection. When you have such a pretty and colorful collection to play with, you can't make just one card!
As always, I love making multiple cards at once and started with four blank card bases. Each card base measures about 4.25 x 6" and is made out of white cardstock.
When I looked through papers in this collection, the Take The Photo paper caught my attention. I really liked those frames and was determined to use them on my cards. After fussy cutting a few, I arranged them on the card with pop dots, which created a unique base for the card. All I needed to do is add a few embellishments and a sentiment.
Another paper that stood out to me was a sunburst design from the 6x8 paper pad. I trimmed it to about 4x5.75" and adhered to the front of the card. After adding all of the embellishments to the center of the starburst, I added the sentiment to the top right. I really like how that sunburst effect draws your eye to the card design.
I hope you were inspired today and I can't wait to create more cards from this collection! Thank you for visiting Simple Stories blog and make sure to stop by again soon for more inspiration.
