Hello Simple Stories fans, it is Dorymar today with a fun project. The word that describes the new Simple Vintage Lemon Twist Collection is STUNNING! I fell in love when I saw the gorgeous color palette of this collection. The bright yellow with the teal and black is just fantastic. Also, this collection has awesome patterns and adorable goodies that make any project an awesome one. Let's take a look!
I selected the 6x8 Black Sn@p Album to match this gorgeous collection. Here you can see how the yellow makes a triumphal entrance between the black and teal. In this project, I added a 1.25" buffalo check ribbon to close the album on the side. This also brings a gorgeous look to the cover.
On the cover, I used two patterned pieces of paper from the 6x8 paper pad, on one of them I fussy cut the beautiful design to create my own layered background. Then I used one of my favorite items from the collection, the foam letters, to create the title of my project. For the finishing touches, I added some die-cuts and foam stickers.
The Sn@p binder includes many pages, I used them to create my own designed dividers and incorporate the interactive tricks. This makes my project more fun and striking like the collection. On this page, I created a pocket with an accordion flap that holds nine pictures only in the front of the pocket. Inside the pocket you can add the journaling and more photos, this is awesome!
I love to use the die cuts and stickers to personalize the 3x4 and 6x4 cards included in the collection. The collection brings tons of beautiful elements that make the process of making the project amazingly easy but above all very fun.
My favorite goodies in this collection are the Chipboard Frames, OMG they are freaking gorgeous. I used them in several pages of my projects. I just needed to place them and add a highlight element. As a result, the page is done and gorgeous. They do all of my work!
The foam letters are perfect for the titles but also to create layers in your album and are fantastic! I love them!
