Hi friends! Andrea Lake here today, and I’m excited to share a fun project featuring the Say Cheese Classic Mouse Halloween collection and the SN@P! Studio Mini Chipboard Album – Mouse Ear. As soon as I saw this adorable album, I knew I wanted to transform it into an autograph book to take to the parks during the Halloween season. It’s such a fun way to collect signatures from your favorite characters while creating a keepsake that becomes part of the adventure itself.
To decorate the album, I mixed 12x12 patterned papers and papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad, along with Bits & Pieces, Journal Bits, Foam Stickers and Cardstock Stickers. I also added machine stitching around the pages and across some of the patterned paper layers for extra texture. I love all the playful colors and patterns in this collection—they give the album that perfect combination of Disney magic and Halloween fun!
Inside, I intentionally kept plenty of the pages light and open, leaving lots of space for character autographs. I added embellishments around the edges and in small clusters so the pages still feel decorated without taking away the space needed for signatures. Tags, journaling pieces, pumpkins, bats, characters and spooky little details add personality throughout the album and make every page feel different.
While I created this one as an autograph book, this album and collection would also be perfect for documenting your own spooky adventures at the parks! Add photos, journaling, tickets and memorabilia, or combine them with the autographs you collect along the way. I love the idea of creating the album before your trip, taking it along for the adventure, and then finishing it with photos and stories when you get home. Happy Halloween and happy crafting!
Love,
Andrea L.
