A Colorful Day at the Fun Park
This layout is all about color, joy, and childhood memories! I created a 12x12 page using the Fun Times Collection, a line full of vibrant tones and whimsical elements that instantly transport us to a cheerful day at the amusement park.
For this project, I chose a very special photo one of me on a carousel. There’s something so magical about carousels… the music, the movement, and that peaceful feeling that brings back childhood memories every single time.
To match that happy vibe, I decided to play with color clusters, grouping embellishments by their tones to build fun monochromatic sections across the page. This technique adds depth and balance, while letting all those adorable details from the collection shine!
I layered patterned papers, used bits & pieces, chipboards, brads, and all the cute icons popcorn, balloons, pretzels, and tickets to capture that “so much fun” energy of a day spent at the fair. Creating this layout was pure happiness!
