Hi Friends! Andrea with you today sharing a fun Christmas project. The Baking Spirits Bright Collection was THE PERFECT collection to create this project I've been wanting to create!
I finally decided to use my pink MemoryDex Rolodex that I will fill up with delicious Holiday Family recipes. The idea is to start with 12 recipes and keep adding more and more until the rolodex is full!
In between the recipe cards, I created a few cards I am using as fillers that are decorated with different embellishments. It is so fun to flip through these cards and see all the different and colorful details.
I primarily used the Heidi Swapp MemoryDex metal dies to make the card bases but I really wanted to use the 4x6 recipe cards that came with the Baking Spirits Bright collection so I trimmed them to fit in the rolodex and punched the holes using the MemoryDex hole punch. I plan to add photos of the actual moments, meals & photos of the family enjoying the meals from the recipes!
One amazing thing about this system is how easy it is to keep adding details once the original project has been made. It can also become an ongoing family tradition of adding recipes or photos for years to come!
This is definitely a fun family project and can be shared and passed down from generation to generation. I hope you enjoyed it and feel inspired to give it a try!
